Hi Everyone, it's Monday and that means it's movie time.  Watch the movie clip below, read the script and try to find seven new words or expressions that you don't know.
That's it.  You don't need to understand 100% of what is happening, if you just learn seven new words then you have made progress!

BRUCE What's with the dealio?

GRACE We're having a blood drive.

BRUCE Creepy. Needles, yech...

GRACE Well they need my blood. I have a very rare blood type, I'm AB postitive

BRUCE I'm IB positive.  I be positive they ain't touching me with no needle!

BRUCE I mean, it's just s o . . .

GRACE Helpful and life saving?

BRUCE No it's  your...blood. It's blood. Blood's supposed to stay inside your body, that's where it's meant to be. Besides, they stockpile this stuff in a warehouse somewhere, it's all frozen on ice, and they tell everybody there's a shortage.

GRACE That's not true, where did you hear that?

BRUCE From a very reliable friend of a friend of a girl who's sister is going out with someone very high up in the government. But for your own protection I cannot discuss it at this time. Now get out, before they see us together.

GRACE Oh here, hold on a second.  You need these more than I do.

BRUCE What is these?

GRACE Prayer beads. The kids made 'em for me. They will keep you safe.

BRUCE I hope they're powerful, I'm going to need a friggin miracle to get me to work on time.

BRUCE This isn't happening, not now. Not during sweeps week. Oh God. Yep, yep, meeting's started. Without me. This is my luck. This is my luck. Oh come on, come on, come on, come on...

This is another name for announcer.  Someone that reads the news on TV.

Walter Cronkite

A famous American Anchor with a deep voice. 

 Shit

"C'mon let's go back inside and have a shit."

This is impolite language that means to defecate, to go poop.

 Blood Drive

 We're having a blood drive.

This means an organized effort to collect blood donations.  There are also clothing drives and food drives, which also collect things for charity. 

 Stockpile

Besides, they stockpile this stuff in a warehouse somewhere.

To store up to save.  This implies that there is lots of blood already in storage.

Friggin(g)

I'm going to need a friggin miracle to get me to work on time.

This is a non-swear word that sounds like a swear word.  It is something people say when they want to swear.
